北加州复旦大学校友会会歌的由来

2003年6月北加州复旦校友会成功地协办了跨文化基金会首届“ 敞开心扉，拥抱生活” 精神健康讲座，当时担任校友会副会长的我参与了许多筹备工作。讲座结束开车回家的路上，我被堵在海湾大桥拥塞的车流里。依然沉浸在讲座成功兴奋之中的我，脑子里突然飞出几个旋律以及相应的诗句。为抓住这突如其来的灵感，我迅速拿出纸笔，利用开开停停的瞬间断断续续记下音乐及诗句；回到家中更一边做饭一边继续，在原稿上留下点点油渍。作品受到湾区及北京作曲家的鼓励并蒙他们稍作修改；上海音乐学院研究生 （当时）董音免费为歌曲制作电脑伴奏音乐；湾区知音合唱团指挥、著名歌唱家 谈柏年率30多位团员免费演唱；上音校友郑伟骏免费录音合成，众人的努力成就了这一 首温馨活泼又气势磅礴的歌曲。后经当年理事会同意，这首歌被定为北加州复旦大学校友会会歌。据信这是湾区第一个由自己的校友作词作曲的校友会会歌。该会歌并於2005年配上校园景致做成 DVD，作为校友会对母校百年华诞的献礼。
关于向校友尹榆家人捐款的倡议书

各位校友
你们好！
也许有部分校友已从别的渠道得知，我们的校友、复旦大学物理系88级尹榆，因为胃癌末期离开了人世，年仅43岁。这个家顿时失去了经济和精神上的支柱，只留下没有工作的妻子Lei Kang独自照顾三个未成年的儿女，最小的才只有十八月大。更不幸的是，大儿子还患有自闭症。可想而知亲人的逝去对这个家庭的打击有多大。尹榆的妻子Lei Kang也是复旦校友。
我们远渡重洋来到美国，校友会就是另一个温暖的家。所以，北加州复旦大学校友会在此倡议各位校友，尽一点力，献一份心，帮帮这个家庭度过难关。如果您认识 尹榆校友且在San Diego附近，他的funeral安排在 3/16/2013 10am El Camino Memorial – Sorrento Valley (5600 Carroll Canyon Road，San Diego, CA 92121 Phone: (800) 352-2646)， 希望您能参加他的追思会。

衷心祝贺复旦队获得东方明珠杯第三名！

共有24个队参加的2012年东方明珠杯乒乓球赛于10月27日在 Plesanton Middle School 举行。
本次比赛北加州复旦校友有两支队伍参赛。复旦一队由左文德领队，二队由卜红蕾带队。比赛中，复旦一队团结奋战，越战越勇，在四分之一决赛中，惊人 地战胜了蝉联五届冠军的清华队，最终与上海交大并列第三名。这是复旦队近年获得的最好成绩，实在可贺可喜！复旦二队也成功地打进了前16名。
本次比赛的前两名由初次参赛的本地大学 San Jose State University 和 De Anza College 的现役校队获得。本次比赛也是东方明珠杯的第十届赛事。复旦校友会和上海交大校友会是东方明珠杯的创始校友会。会上，复旦和交大的校友会长为赛事组委会和赞助商颁发了感谢奖。

2012 FDAANC Board Member Nomination and Election

Dear Alumni and Friends,
It’s time to elect the Board of FDAANC!
As you may know, FDAANC is managed by a Board of Directors. From this year, we will allow all FDAANC Members to nominate any member to be a FDAANC Board Member, so long as you get his/her consent. The FDAANC Board shall consist of at least eight (8) members, but no more than fifteen (15) members. Each Board Member shall serve a term of two (2) years and can serve for more than one term.
Board Election Procedure consists of the following five stages:
- Board Member Nomination
- Board Member Voting
- Publish Voting Results
- Board Annual General Meeting
- Newly Elected Board Members Assume Office
About Board Member Nominations
Members of FDAANC can nominate any FDAANC member who voluntarily submits their basic information to be a Board Member as long as the person meets the following criteria:
- Be physically present in the Northern California area for at least 50% of the time in a single year
- Participate in and be a volunteer at least 50% of the events in a single year
Basic information of each nominated candidate includes his/her graduation year from Fudan University, major, and reasons he or she wants to be a Board Member of FDAANC (in less than 100 words).
Interested members please send the basic information in the form below by the day on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011.
