致海内外校友的一封信——复旦大学相辉堂保护修缮项目

亲爱的校友:您好!

挥别母校,您是否还记得校园里那座美丽的相辉堂?

日月光华,交相辉映。“相辉堂”馆名取自马相伯、李登辉两位老校长之名。1946年,李登辉老校长将校友们为他筹集的颐养金三十余两黄金用于学校大 礼堂的筹建;1947年初夏,登辉堂在被炸毁的第一宿舍废墟上展现新容。同年7月5日,李登辉校长在这里作了最后一次讲演,提出了“服务、牺牲、团结”之 复旦精神。1985年复旦校庆八十周年,登辉堂改名相辉堂,以永远纪念马相伯和李登辉两位校长,周谷城教授题写匾名,倍显庄重神圣。

相辉堂自伫立之日起,弹指六十即逝。她与复旦风雨同路,是复旦校园中一抹不可或缺的风景。她既是开学毕业典礼、国内外重要宾客演讲的场所、学生的重要活动基地,更是深藏于每一位复旦人记忆深处的精神殿堂。

因年代久远,相辉堂内部设施陈旧,已日渐不能满足师生各项活动的需求,修缮迫在眉睫。应学校发展之需和广大校友的呼吁,修缮工作将以“保持风貌、提 升功能” 为原则,修缮后的相辉堂将成为学校庆典、大型会议、文艺表演以及影视观摩等重要活动的场地,配有多功能活动厅、演出化妆间和接待厅等辅助设施,功能更趋完 善。

今年6月,生物系8523班级同学毕业20年返校聚会,得悉相辉堂的修缮项目后,当即以班级名义发出倡议,并启动了班级的筹款。作为母校近年最可凝 聚人心的发展项目,也作为校友、师生、社会各界对复旦大学105周年校庆的献礼,2009年9月18日,相辉堂保护修缮项目的筹募活动正式启动,得到了广 大海内外校友的积极响应和支持。

截至目前,李达三、陈曾焘两位老校友已承诺捐赠人民币1600万元;西安校友会顾问徐彦平代表校友会和“高山流水”承诺捐资人民币200万;上海、 北京、江浙、湖南、香港等地的校友会和校友也已纷纷响应,策划以校友会、班级、或个人的形式参与母校的发展;母校师生的捐赠活动也将拉开序幕。

相辉堂保护修缮项目中,800多个座位的捐赠计划,是专门为广大海内外校友、师生设计的,凡捐资人民币壹万元的,可在您选中的相辉堂座位上铭刻姓名。详情请见专题网站。

Fudan University Delegation September 2009

Fudan University Delegation of 15 people led by Chairman of the Board Yuan Tianfan, Party Secretary Qin Shaode will visit the U.S. by late September.  The  delegation will visit leading universities in the U.S. including University of Chicago, Rice University, UCSF and Stanford University for discussions on academic exchange, research and development collaboration, and recruiting.

The delegation will be in the San Francisco Bay Area between September 26th and September 29th, and will meet with local alumni on September 27th, 2009.

Please mark your calendar for 2009 Summer BBQ, organized by Fudan University Alumni Association of Northern California (FDAANC) in collaboration with the following alumni organizations:

仲夏在复旦 – 龙飞飞少年夏令营 2009

由复旦附中教育发展基金和复旦附中海外基金会联合主办的“仲夏在复旦 – 龙飞飞少年夏令营 复旦附中2009”(暂定名)以于2009年7月6日至7月24日在复旦大学附属中学圆满结束,参加的营员主要是国内外复旦大学和复旦 附中校友子女,年龄为1年级至9年级(09年秋季)的学生。

本夏令营依托复旦附中优秀的场地和设施,借鉴美国夏令营企业化的运营模式,为兴趣爱好广泛的中外少年开设包括科技、体育、艺术和手工以及文化课在内 的营地活动。所有的活动都将用中英文双语展开,不仅让孩子们有机会接触跨文化的趣味活动,而且让他们交到跨国界的朋友,使2009年的夏天成为他们少儿生 活中的亮点。

热情奔放的龙飞飞为接待海内外“龙的传人”,将复旦附中打扮成充满龙的神秘、龙的冒险以及龙的活力的快乐天地。

设施

复旦附中是上海最负盛名的学校之一。它坐落在上海东北片复旦大学校城区,交通便捷,环境优雅。它如花园般的校园拥有完整的体育、科技和文化设施,是夏令营的理想的活动场所;它的国际部提供优裕的食宿环境,是营员舒适的生活场所。具体设施,请参阅简讯后的图片。

管理与师资

夏令营的管理团队中既有从事教育行业几十年的复旦附中退休校长,也有海外归国的高级管理人员,还有活跃在上海国际学校的外籍老师和现任复旦附中后勤 总管。营地生活区域配有24小时管理人员,负责住宿,饮食,医疗等等,以协调孩子的生活起居。夏令营采用美国夏令营中通用的辅导员模式 (counselor),每个营地活动除了一位辅导员,还配有一位双语助手,营员数一般不超过15个,以保证孩子们有一个安全,快乐,有益的营地生活。

营员

营员分为住宿营员和走读营员两种:

  • 住宿营员主要为国外孩子和有意愿体验住宿生活的国内孩子,年龄为5年级至9年级(09年秋季),3周一期,7月6日至7月24日为第一期;
  • 走读营员主要针对国内孩子,年龄为1年级至9年级(09年秋季),没有周数限制。

无论是住宿还是走读,每周活动都可以从夏令营提供的丰富多彩的课程中选择。详细说明请见  “活动”一栏。

每项活动都有具体的年龄条件,请根据年龄选择适当的活动。

活动

夏令营提供包括科技,体育,艺术和手工,文化课四大模块在内的几十种活动。每个活动通常以每周5个半天为一个单元,既可以让孩子充分体验一个活动, 又可以在一定的时间内尝试更多不同的活动。对于家长,也更容易为自己的孩子设计适合他们兴趣和程度的活动,在进行丰富的活动同时还可以重温一些文化知识。 夏令营不仅用双语教学给国内外孩子提供学习语言的机会,还专门为国外孩子开设中文课程,为国内孩子开设英文补习。上半天的活动一般为9:00点至 12:00点,下半天的活动一般为2:00点至5:00点。夏令营还将为住宿的营员安排丰富的业余活动以及周末旅游活动。

生活

夏令营为所有的营员提供环境宽敞,品种丰富的用餐体验;并为住宿营员提供两人间的标准客房,配有空调,淋浴,微波炉,冰箱,电视以及桌椅家具,并有 洗衣机和烘衣机供住宿营员使用。为方便营员与远在千里的家长联系,夏令营还将为家长提供每日营地活动照片,并为孩子们提供有辅导员值班的安全的上网环境。 另外,夏令营还为孩子们提供休闲活动室,供他们业余社交之用。

费用

  • 住宿营员每周¥2700元 或者$395(以一周7天计,参加上半天和下半天夏令营活动,包括食宿,不包括来回机票以及保险和周末旅游费用)。
  • 走读营员每单元(每周5个半天为一单元)¥960元,如需用午餐,另加¥80元(以一周5天计)。
  • 个别夏令营活动需另购材料,费用另计。

We’re excited to have Ms. Chen Wanqiu for a college planning seminar with the topic “How Admission Decisions Are Made in Selective Colleges”. The seminar has attracted over 150 attendees and received very positive feedback from the participants, including parents and children.
